The diameter of the distal core has been thickened for increased stiffness. This provides more selective navigation into diffuse lesions and sice branches.
Extra Hoppy
• Enhanced hydrophilic coating and fully coated distal tip
The distal part of the wire is fully coated with enhanced hydrophilic coating which provides superior trackability like plastic-type wires for complex tortuous lesions, yet maintains the superior steerability of spring-type wires.
• Floppy-type tip
The soft, shapeable Floppy-type distal tip (10mm long) enables the Runthrough NS to be used as a general-purpose PTCA guide wire.
• Extra Floppy-type tip
Extra Flopny type whose tip is softer than the Floppy type is also available. Despite its extra softness, it features higher supporting performance for a wide range of applications.
